Investigated possible rock fall hazards to property located along Wood Dale Drive on Mayne Island. The work comprised identifying the hazard zones in relation to the existing lot boundaries, carrying out a re-assessment of the hazard zones based on the Ministry's current acceptance criteria, and providing an assessment of suitable mitigation measures and their construction costs for groupings of lots with similar hazard characteristics.

Prepared designs for the installation, repair and proposed improvements to the rock fall containment nets above the cruise ship dock in Skagway. The source of the falls is a landslide at the crest of the slope at a height of about 800 ft. above the dock. The designed net only provided protection against individual falls with dimensions up to about 2 to 3 ft., and not against large scale landslide instability.
